Worship Corner - Columns/Blogs, Song Stories and Articles
About Laura Story Once an aspiring symphony conductor, Laura Story didn’t even know she could sing – much less write songs – until she was in her early twenties. Today, Laura Story is not only a gifted vocalist and worship leader but also the composer of one of the most beloved worship songs of our generation – “Indescribable.”

Bless the Lord: Psalm 103:1-5
Do you ever have days when you don’t feel like worshipping? As someone who leads worship for a living, I have to admit that sometimes I don’t feel like worshipping. Some days I am tired and my throat hurts; other days, I am feeling down or distracted by other things.
Immortal, Invisible - “Something Greater”

There is something mysterious about worship. Even as I child, I remember singing songs like, “Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus” and “I Surrender All,” and feeling all warm inside. Whether it’s the thunderous voice of a hundred-person choir or “Amazing Grace” being
played by a single violin, there is a tenderness that cannot be explained with words. It’s the feeling of being part of something greater than myself.

Indescribable
Have you ever given a gift to a friend or family member and secretly regretted that you didn’t keep it for yourself? Seeing it in the hands of a loved one brought out the hidden desires of your heart, and you had to squelch the urge to grab back what was rightfully yours.
